Sauber marks Kubica as star of future

Former F1 team boss Peter Sauber has marked BMW driver Robert Kubica out as a megastar of the future. Sauber's comments come after Kubica finished third at the Italian Grand Prix - only his third F1 race.

"He managed to catapault himself from sixth on the grid to third thanks to an aggressive yet controlled start," Sauber said. "Then he was able to fend off pressure from Felipe Massa for lap after lap without making even the slightest mistake."

"That was an outstanding performance," added Sauber, who gave Massa his F1 break.
