Ferrari's car design guru Rory Byrne insists that Ferrari will still be able to keep winning despite Michael Schumacher's retirement at the end of this season. Byrne himself has agreed to stay on another two years at least as a consultant.
"It's not the end of an era but just the end of Michael's career," Byrne told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "To beat Ferrari will still be difficult. I designed my last full car in 2004, but this season's is very competitive."
Byrne went on to say that he has full confidence Kimi Raikkonen will quickly and easily find his feet at Maranello
