Rosberg happy with maiden F1 season.

After receiving rave reviews at the start of the season for some strong drives, Nico Rosberg has struggled to build on that that early season form as the Williams' cars have failed to maintain the necessary pace. The 21-year-old is adamant, however, that he has achieved all that he set out to do in his first season in Formula One and that he has established a solid partnership with the Grove-based squad from which to push the team back up the grid.

"From a personal point of view it's been a relatively good season because my goal was to establish myself in Formula One and get a contract for next year which also means that the team believes in me which is very important part and I think that was my goal," the German said at the Thursday press conference at Shanghai.

"So I've achieved that and now it's really all about progressing together with the team which is part of getting a better car for next year also, and progress together, and I really believe we can."
