Schumacher on top on Saturday morning

Micahel Schumacher was on top in Saturday morning's one-hour practice session, setting a dominant pace of 1m30.653s in dry conditions to finish 1.2s clear or brother Ralf and Jenson Button.

Giancarlo Fisichella was fourth and Fernando Alonso fifth, 1.9s down on the lead Ferrari's pace. BMW's Heidfeld finished sixth ahead of a stronger show from Rosberg, Raikkonen, Kubica and Massa.

It was a relatively uneventful session but unlike yesterday conditions were warm and even sunny at times with air temperature climbing to 25 degrees Centigrade.
