| Kubica in Jerez |
On Wednesday testing continued in Southern Spain with five teams on track. Race drivers Michael Schumacher, Pedro de la Rosa and Robert Kubica joined the test drivers. BMW driver Kubica was the only one to cause a red flag today when he stopped on track with most likely an electrical problem.
At Toyota their test driver Ricardo Zonta busied himself mostly with tyre testing. Zonta said about his day of work: "Today I believe the track conditions here changed greatly between the morning and afternoon sessions. If we would have put new tyres on the car in the morning, I feel that we could have had a better lap time. Tomorrow we will continue this testing to see how the track and the tyres behave before we make a final decision."
Testing will continue on Thursday.
