Spyker still searching for second driver
11 October 2006The number of seats available for 2007 is small. At Spyker for example there is still one seat available. The various drivers that are named in the paddock who will partner Christijan Albers at the team are quiet a few. But the team won't rush themselves into a decision.

Earlier this week Gary Paffett admitted in the British media that he is in talks with Spyker. But apart from Paffett there are several other drivers Colin Kolles admitted to F1Racing.net. "Yes, I can admit that we are in touch with Paffett," Kolles said. "But we are also with a number of other drivers. We are talking to a few, but we aren't close to a deal with any of them yet at this moment. Drivers such as Monteiro, Sutil, Klien, Paffet and a number of others are on our wish list but at the moment nothing has been signed."
"Our aim is to sign our second driver before we start our winter testing."
