Paffet splits with McLaren?
16 October 2006According to the normally well informed Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat Gary Paffett has end his contract at McLaren as there is no race seat for him available at the team.

Paffet won the McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year award back in 1999 and has been backed by the Woking-based team ever since. In 2003 he joined the DTM series. He won the German touring car championship in 2005.
