
As F1Racing.net exclusively announced a week ago ING will become Renault F1's team sponsor for the next three years. They will replace tobacco brand Mild Seven.
ING has selected Formula 1 as the platform from which to build global brand awareness, and target key growth markets for the business. According to the team, title sponsorship presented a unique opportunity to achieve a high-impact entry into the sport in partnership with a world championship-winning team.
Team boss Flavio Briatore said: "We are proud to introduce ING to the world of Formula 1, and the unique opportunities it offers for global growth. ING is a brand that fits perfectly with the Renault F1 Team's image.
