Piquet jr. eyes Fisichella's race seat

Renault's new test driver Nelson Piquet junior hopes he can replace Giancarlo Fisichella in 2008. The Brazilian was runner up in this seasons GP2 series behind McLaren's Lewis Hamilton.

Nelson Piquet said about his targets in Formula 1: "Fisichella may retire in 2008 and if everything goes right, I should replace him," he told Reuters. "As they are investing in Kovalainen now, probably it's Fisichella who is going to stop because of age."
