Schumacher right to retire says Todt
22 October 2006Ferrari's F1 team boss Jean Todt has said Michael Schumacher was right to retire from Formula 1 after this season, regardless of whether he would win the title this season or not.

Today Schumacher will be racing his last F1 race and Todt believes Schumacher made the right decision. Todt told Gazzetta dello Sport: "I believe he made the right choice. He will end his career with seven championship titles but eight or nine titles wouldn't make any difference in his life."
"Michael will finish at the top and he will be in good health and do whatever he likes now in his life."
