Fisichella will miss Alonso

Giancarlo Fisichella was Fernando Alonso's team-mate at Renault for the past two seasons. The duo won the constructors' championship twice for Renault. In January Alonso will join McLaren, while Fisichella will be joined by Heikki Kovalainen at Renault. Fisichella will miss his friend.

When asked by ITV's Louise Goodman whether he will be missing Alonso next year Fisichella replied saying: "He is not my girlfriend! I will maybe miss playing cards with him next year. We would play most weekends, even before the race I would play with him and Flavio which was always quite funny. I don't think that will happen next year unless we teach Heikki to play cards!"

"We have always had a lot of fun playing tennis and football too. We've had a good friendship and I will miss that."
