Nakajima's target: F1 race driver

WilliamsF1's latest signing, Kazuki Nakajima, is looking forward to begin his work as the team's official test driver. The Japanese test driver has one ultimate goal: become an official Formula One driver in 2008.

Williams announced Nakajima earlier this week as the team's second test driver. In the upcoming year he will be testing for the team and race in GP2. Nakajima can't wait to get things started. "This will be the first time for me to participate in both GP2 and F1," he said. "I hope to gain as much experience as possible and achieve good results in GP2."

"I am still not completely sure how F1 is like, but I will have the opportunity to drive as a test driver and hope to contribute to the team while gaining experience. My ultimate goal is to be an F1 race driver and I hope to make 2007 a year to achieve my goal."
