De la Rosa: Ferrari has an advantage

Pedro de la Rosa believes Ferrari has the biggest chance to win the Formula 1 championship in 2007. The Spanish McLaren driver also expects his team to perform well, even though McLaren was unable to win a race in 2006.

Speaking about his expectations De la Rosa told EFE: "Ferrari is the favourite team for the title next year. They have more experience with Bridgestone tyres than Renault and McLaren. That's why I believe they have an advantage at the start of the season."

"I also believe McLaren will have a strong car next year. Usually a team such as McLaren won't have two bad years in a row."

Pedro de la Rosa has been confirmed by McLaren team boss Ron Dennis as part of the team in 2007. But De la Rosa's position has yet to be announced.
