Klien settles in at Honda

22 November 2006

Christian Klien has spent the past few days settling into his new team - Honda. The Austrian driver had a seat-fitting at the end of last week and on Monday was back at the team's Brackley headquarters to meet the president and CEO of Honda Motor Company Mr Takeo Fukui. Along with new team mate Button, Klien took the president on a tour of the factory.

"I have very much enjoyed my first days working with the Honda team over the last week," Klien said. "It was really interesting to visit the factory and learn how the developments for next year are coming along. It was also a great pleasure to meet Mr Fukui so early in my time with Honda."

"It's been a lot of fun so far but now I'm looking forward to actually getting on with testing and driving the car," he added.

Klien will be in action for Honda at the end of this month when testing resumes at Barcelona.
