Alonso's manager denies wedding rumours

In Spain the media is excited about Fernando Alonso's wedding at the Maldives. According to the Spanish media Alonso flew to the Maldives with his girlfriend Raquel del Rosario and their family.

What was just a little news item because a big story in Spain. Now Alonso's manager got tired of it and slammed the Spanish press. "Fernando Alonso and Raquel del Rosario did not get married in the Maldives as some national media said in the past few days."

He furthermore said: "It is sad that after years defending the colours of his country and carrying the name of Spain all over the world to receive such a treatment from his own country."
