Kerpen rejects proposal to honour Schumacher
27 November 2006Michael Schumacher's hometown, Kerpen (Germany), has rejected the proposal to honour the German in the little town. Kerpen's mayor Marlies Sieburg rejected the proposal, which was, send in by one of Schumacher's fans.

An official from Kerpen told German newspaper Express: "The honour should be given to someone who worked for many years and maybe even decades for the benefit of our town Kerpen."
