F1 returns to track
28 November 2006 / PhotosThe Formula 1 teams have travelled to Circuit de Catalunya this week for the first official week of testing of the season. For many teams it will be an interesting week as they will have Bridgestone tyres fitted to their cars.
The Spyker F1 team is the only team that won't be testing in the next three weeks as they have decided to focus on next year's car in the factory. Most of the other team's did travel to Barcelona for the first week of testing.
At Circuit de Catalunya Mark Webber made his debut for Red Bull Racing, while Anthony Davidson completed his first laps in a Super Aguri car. The Honda F1 team is running a black car.
The test in Barcelona is a three-day test session. Next week the teams will travel to Jerez, Southern Spain, for another three-day test session.
