Hakkinen to attend Barcelona test
28 November 2006Mika Hakkinen is due to attend testing at Barcelona tomorrow amid speculation that he might actually test the McLaren car. The former champion has spent some time in McLaren's simulator and there is speculation he might try the car out this week or next.

"It's only rumours," Hakkinen told Spanish newspaper Marca. "My goal is still to race in DTM but if McLaren call me to help them I'll do it with great pleasure."
Hakkinen has spent some hours in the team's simulator at Woking in recent weeks.
