Ferrari had a positive first day of testing this winter at the Catalunya circuit near Barcelona. Luca Badoer and Felipe Massa were the first Ferrari drivers to return to the race track after the break following the Brazilian Grand Prix, the final round of the 2006 Championship.
The day's technical programme featured long run tests, experimentation with new components and working on the set-up of the 248 F1. The day in figures is as follows: 49 laps for Felipe (best time 1.17.174) and 72 for Luca (1.17.546.)
Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow, again with Badoer and Massa on track.
