It has been a difficult season for F1's latest team Super Aguri. The team started the 2006 season with an old car, but managed to end the season with a little success. Next year Aguri expects to do more. Aguri's Sporting director Daniele Audetto even hopes his drivers can score some points at races.
With Anthony Davidson and Takuma Sato, Super Aguri has two capable drivers. "Anthony has a lot of experience," Audetto told F1Racing.net. "He deserved this opportunity. I'm sure he can bring a lot to the team. We hope we can score some points next season. It's important that we can reach the top ten. We want to be as competitive as possible from the start. That's why we test as much as we can at the moment."
Audetto also expects his team to have a slight advantage in the beginning of the season. Last year Super Aguri drove on Bridgestone tyres. Since the Japanese tyre manufacturer became the only supplier, most of the teams have to get used to it. "We have a lot of experience with Bridgestone," he explained. "I expect that to be an advantage, especially in the first races."
