Button to miss Jerez test

Jenson Button will miss this week's F1 test in Jerez to allow him more time to recover from a cracked rib, his Honda team has confirmed. Button missed last week's test at Barcelona after sustaining the injury while karting.

Honda will look at the situation again at the end of this week to determine whether Button will return to the cockpit for the final test before Christmas at Jerez next week.

While Button may be off testing duties recovering from his rib injury, it was not enough to keep him and his father from partying the night away in London's fashionable and uber-expensive Mayfair region at the end of last week.
