Heidfeld a lot cooler these days

Nick Heidfeld says he is a lot cooler these days leading the BMW Sauber F1 team's charge than he was when he first came into F1.

"My general approach towards F1 has definitely become a lot cooler," Heidfeld said. "When you're new to F1 there's no denying you feel a certain degree of awe."

"I don't stay in the paddock quite as long as I used to," he added. "While I'm still one of the last drivers to leave, I often used to dwell on the telemetry data until midnight. After a while, however, you fail to see the wood for the trees and you get too little sleep."
