Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo wants to see if Formula One teams can reduce their budgets they work with. Teams such as Ferrari are rumoured to have spend over 250 million euro in 2006.
The FIA is talking about costs reduction for years already and as a result it has introduced the 'two races engine rule' in 2006. Now Ferrari preseident Luca di Montezemolo openly supports the idea to reduce the costs for teams in Formula 1. "Formula 1 must find a way to limit its costs," he told Corriere della Sera. "It is crucial for the sport to reduce the costs."
