Raikkonen feels better at Ferrari

03 January 2007

Kimi Raikkonen is now an official Ferrari Formula 1 driver. The Finn joined the team on January 1st after five years racing at McLaren Mercedes. Raikkonen already admits after a few days on the job he feels better at the Italian team than he did in Woking.

"I already feel very comfortable at Ferrari," he said. "In only a few days I already discovered that the atmosphere here is much friendlier than at McLaren. Here they don't care what the newspapers write about me."

Speaking about his new team boss Jean Todt Raikkonen said: "He (Todt) is a completely normal person and he has plenty of experience to deal with Finnish drivers. I don't believe I need to worry here."
