McLaren will have tough year - Briatore

Renault team boss Flavio Briatore says McLaren will have a tough season in 2007 despite the fact that Fernando Alonso will be driving for them.

"It'll be a tough year for McLaren," Briatore told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "I see them having troubles. They've always had great drivers like Kimi Raikkonen, they always announce them early to show they're changing, but this year the book of excuses has come to its last page."

Briatore went on to say that Ferrari will be less competitive next season having lost Michael Schumacher and Ross Brawn.
