Haug: Kimi didn't mean it like that

Mercedes Sporting Chief Norberg Haug believes Kimi Raikkonen doesn't think as poorly of McLaren as some might think. Ferrari's new driver Raikkonen said last week the atmosphere at McLaren wasn't as good as at Ferrari. According to Haug journalists tried to make him say that at Ferrari's annual ski event at Madonna di Campiglio.

"It's pretty clear to me that the press provoked Kimi to say nasty things about his former team," Haug told German newsagent SID. "I believe he is a great person and see him as a great rival I have worked with for five years at McLaren."
