Doornbos still chasing Toro Rosso drive

With Viso close to becoming Scuderia Toro Rosso's test driver Robert Doornbos is also still busy with the Italian team. The Dutchman hopes he can become the team's race driver, but admitted he also keeps other options open.

"Basically nothing has changed as I still target a race seat at Toro Rosso," said Doornbos. "But I also keep my other options open. One of them is to test at Red Bull Racing and combine it with racing in the USA."

Doornbos furthermore said he hopes to secure his definite plans for 2007 soon.
