Mark Webber will be racing in the upcoming season for the Red Bull Racing team. The Australian has had two difficult season at Williams and can't wait to get back into the action with his new team. He even expects to score a podium finish in 2007.
Speaking about Red Bull's 2007 contender Mark Webber explained to AP: "Our car is so different from the Red Bull car of the past year and obviously the Renault engine is a real coup for us. We were very keen on the Renault engine because they've done the business in the last few seasons."
And with such a strong engine expectations are high: "I would be disappointed if I don't get podiums this year," said Webber.
But the 30-year-old is realistic enough a podium finish shouldn't be his goal at his home Grand Prix in Australia this March. "The car hasn't run yet and every new F1 car has problems," he said. "These cars are not designed for conservatism. You try to get reliability where you can. Every driver at the Australian GP knows it's his biggest chance of having a points finish because of attrition."
