Kovalainen fastest on final day

Renault driver Heikki Kovalainen was the fastest man at Jerez today. The Finn steered the R27 at the Spanish track to a fastest time of the week: 1.19.185. He completed 112 laps.

Friday was the final day of testing for Renault and Super Aguri in Jerez de la Frontera. The Renault team brought two R27's, while Super Aguri had to cover the miles with one chassis.

On the final day Heikki Kovalainen was over a second faster than his team mate Fisichella. Takuma Sato took over testing duties from Anthony Davidson and completed 118 laps.
