Greece has moved a step closer to hosting a Formula One Grand Prix after the country's president passed a law which will allow investors trying to organise a race to ask for government funding.
Developments over recent months seem to suggest the Greek government is in favour of a race that could help boost tourism, one of the country's main sources of income. Plans are afoot for a possible circuit sited an hour from Athens.
