Zonta up for Renault challenge

Ricardo Zonta says he's up for the challenge of being the Renault F1 team's official test and reserve driver after several years shouldering that same responsibility for the Toyota team. Zonta's first impressions of his new team have been quite positive, in contrast to his previous outfit.

"I immediately found myself in a very warm atmosphere, much more so than in the other teams that I worked for in the past. You don't feel there's any competition between the drivers. The only thing that counts is Renault's interests," Zonta said

"I'm proud to be a part of the world championship winning team, and I'm very keen to put all my experience at its disposal," he added. "I know the Bridgestone tyres like the back of my hand and I think that could be very useful. Today, I don't feel any pressure in the team. The engineers know that they're doing a good job, that the season will be closely-fought and that everybody wants to get down to developing the R27 as soon as possible."
