Mark Webber says he expects a closer season in F1 this year and doesn't expect Ferrari and Renault to have the same kind of dominance they enjoyed in 2006.
"You look at the field and how many teams will be stepping up a notch and I think it's going to be harder for Renault and Ferrari to as far ahead, especially with the loss of Michael Schumacher, Ross Brawn and Fernando Alonso," Webber said. "For them to make the same progress will be a bit more difficult."
"It's clearly time for McLaren to close in and then also Honda, BMW and Red Bull could have a go," he added. "There's quite a few teams that could close in on that group."
