Wednesday's test session began with a damp track in the morning, but with the bright skies above the track became dry fairly quick. There weren't as many incidents causing a red flag as on Tuesday but there were a few drivers with problems. Massa, Kubica and Van der Garde all spun their cars at the damp track. Dutchman Van der Garde made his Formula 1 debut with Super Aguri's 2006 car. He could only cover 4 laps though as a problem with his steering mechanism.
On Tuesday BMW test driver Vettel blew an engine, but today it was BMW's race driver Kubica who blew up his engine.
