Lewis Hamilton finished fastest on the final day of testing this week at Valencia in Spain as the four-day test session drew to a close. Six teams were in action today but Hamilton was the leader after 112 laps - his best in 1m11.119s. Kimi Raikkonen was second fastest in his Ferrari, but 0.7s down on the leading McLaren.
It was an uneventful day at the circuit, the only red flag came when Pedro de la Rosa's McLaren stopped on the main straight in a cloud of smoke. He finished fourth fastest behind BMW's Robert Kubica and ahead of Fisichella and Vettel.
The circuit was also a lot quieter today as only 3,700 spectators came to watch the action. Over the past three days when Alonso was in action some 27,000 fans turned up.
Mark Webber finished eighth fastest in the Red Bull but couldn't cover more than 23 laps while Jenson button was bottom of the time sheets in the new Honda.
