
Felipe Massa was the fastest man on track at today's test session at Jerez in the South of Spain. The Brazilian completed 109 laps and was slightly faster than McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton.

Testing continued today with 16 drivers on track. One of them was Marco Andretti who enjoyed his second Formula 1 test. The Honda F1 team invited the American again to come and gain more experience in Formula 1.
Fernando Alonso returned to testing today but not without much luck. The Spaniard went off in the opening hour this morning and his car wasn't ready until the afternoon to continue testing.

Mark Webber also faced problems with his Red Bull Racing car. The Australian stopped his car with problems in the morning causing red flags at Jerez. Other drivers causing a red flag in the afternoon were Toyota driver Ralf Schumacher and Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen. Both of them seemed to have an electrical problem.
Testing will most likely continue on Thursday, although weather predictions told the F1 teams in Jerez heavy rain could fall. The test might be extended until Friday for the teams.
