Teams to not lengthen Jerez test

Formula One teams running at Jerez have chosen not to extend the test even though there is bad weather forecast for Thursday. F1's testing committee allows tests to be lengthened if they are hindered by bad weather.

However, sources imply that the eight teams running will not take up the option of testing on Friday to compensate for loss of valuable time. It is apparent that the bad weather will continue tomorrow and teams will want to look ahead to making the most of next week's test in Barcelona instead.
