Liuzzi to race for Toro Rosso

Vitantonio Liuzzi will appear at the grid of the Australian Grand Prix for the Scuderia Toro Rosso team according to its team boss Gerhard Berger. The Italian team is currently in Barcelona for its team presentation.

Toro Rosso team boss and 50% team owner Gerhard Berger told GPUpdate.net: "We've sorted everything out with Tonio. He will be racing for us next season. With Scott we still have some contractual problems to sort out. So that is still open. I can't tell you what we're discussion but for Scott nothing is 100% certain just yet."

Liuzzi scored Toro Rosso's only point in 2006. The Italian scored one point in the US Grand Prix.
