Coulthard fastest on final day in Barcelona

Scotsman David Coulthard showed Red Bull Racing's potential when he set the fastest lap time of the day at Circuit de Catalunya. Coulthard's fastest laps in the Red Bull-Renault was set at 1.21.855.

Wednesday was this week's third and final day of testing in Spain. Today's work began under cloudy conditions. Around lunchtime temperatures went up to 20 degrees Celsius and the sun came out.

Red flags stopped today's programme a couple of times. Red Bull drivers David Coulthard and Mark Webber caused a red flag, as well as Ferrari drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa. Honda driver Rubens Barrichello also seemed to have a problem when he stopped with his Honda F1.

Next week most teams will travel to Bahrain for a three-day test. Spyker and Williams will travel to Valencia for a three-day test session.
