Schumi thrown NASCAR challenge

Michael Schumacher has been thrown a challenge by NASCAR team owner Ray Evernham to change his perception of the series he once dubbed as being uninteresting for him as a driver.

"I'll put Schmacher in a really good car any time he wants to come over here and try it out," Evernham told the Associated Press. "The cars are much more sophisticated these days and I think he'd find them technical enough to be happy."

Whether Schumacher would take up the challenge remains to be seen.
