Kovalainen suffers big crash in Bahrain
27 February 2007 / PhotosHeikki Kovalainen had a big crash in his Renault R27 this morning as testing resumed at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain. The Finnish driver, who will make his Grand Prix debut at Melbourne in three week's time managed to climb from the car shaken, but uninjured.

Kovalainen lost control at the high-speed turn seven and smashed into the barriers. The reason for the crash is not yet known and the car appears to be too damaged to return to action today.
