The Super Aguri team has delayed the launch of its new car until the Wednesday before the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
"We're working relentlessly to prepare our 2007 car which will unfortunately not be available for presentation on March 12 in Tokyo as originally planned," the team said in a statement.
The Super Aguri car is the subject of some controversy as many expect it to look remarkably similar to last year's Honda.
