Ralf: We need to close the gap

Ralf Schumacher realises there is a gap to close with the teams in front of Toyota. The German and Toyota struggled in winter testing with various little problems and must have realised a race win won't be easy at the start of the season.

The opening race in Melbourne is less than two weeks away. Ralf Schumacher Told PA about the current situation: "There is a gap to the front (teams) that we must now work hard to close. There is no point trying to hide it, but in all probability we are going to have a difficult year.

"I would be looking forward to the season more if we had fewer problems to solve. It's often the case if you have a catastrophic test preparation, the races go surprisingly well."
