Ecclestone in Singapore for race talks
14 March 2007Bernie Ecclestone is in Singapore on his way to Melbourne to discuss plans for a Singapore Grand Prix in more detail with property tycoon Ong Beng Seng, who wants to bring F1 to the south-east Asian state.

A deal has not yet been reached, contrary to some reports over the past few weeks in the Singapore press and the possibility of a Grand Prix has even been on the government's agenda this week.
It is widely speculated that the possible race in Singapore would be one of the first night-time F1 races Bernie Ecclestone is keen on introducing.
