Suzuki aims for points starting in Melbourne
14 March 2007 / PhotosSuper Aguri's team founder Aguri Suzuki has high expectations. The Japanese former race driver said at today's team presentation that he will aim for points starting at the opening race this weekend in Melbourne.
Although the team was struggling to get two cars on the grid exactly one year ago for their debut race the team now revved up its expectations. The team wants to score points at every race with its drivers Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson. "This year we have been able to prepare for the season and everybody is raring to go. I am very much looking forward to seeing Takuma (Sato) and Anthony (Davidson) working together again and performing their best for SAF1 Team."
"We will be aiming for points from the opening race and my goal for the end of the season, which I think is a realistic one, is to have our cars in the middle of the grid. I also hope that all our fans cheer for us from the start!"
