The French Grand Prix will not take place next year due to accomodation and access problems, French sports newspaper L'Equipe has reported today.
The organisers have plans to improve these two areas, which have been vehemently criticised by F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone, but it is not even sure these improvements would be enough to retain the French Grand Prix at Magny Cours in 2009.
According to L'Equipe the race can not take place in 2008 because the French Federation of Motorsport (FFSA) said the race can not take place in 2008 "in the current state of affairs".
The FFSA therefore are thinking about moving the French Grand Prix, probably somewhere nearer Paris.
