BMW Sauber driver Nick Heidfeld is having one of his best starts in a Formula 1 season at the moment. The German finished fourth in both the Australian and Malaysian Grand Prix, something he couldn't dream about before the season started he admitted.

"Prior to the race I hadn't even dared dreaming about such a result," Heidfeld said. "In Australia, the Ferraris proved to be a second faster than us. Therefore, I hadn't expected to be able to prevail against Felipe. But I quickly realised that it was possible, today. Every time I had to lap a car, the Ferrari succeeded in closing in on me, however, it never represented a real threat. The performance of my car was just fantastic."
"I would be truly happy should we succeed in continuing at this level," adds Heidfeld. "It would be great if we could establish ourselves among the top six and defeat a Ferrari or McLaren, every now and then."
