Ecclestone plan to solve customer car row

14 April 2007

Bernie Ecclestone will be working on a plan to solve the customer car row which threatens to overshadow this year's F1 championship after team principals spent two hours debating the issue in Bahrain, without agreement.

According to Spyker team boss Colin Kolles, Ecclestone is now going to work on a proposal that should solve the dispute before the Spanish Grand Prix next month.

Kolles has disputed the legality of the Super Aguri car, claiming it is effectively last year's Honda and the Toro Rosso car, which he claims to have evidence in the form of blueprints, that it has been designed by Adrian Newey's team.
