Marko happy with Red Bull's progress

17 April 2007

David Coulthard and Mark Webber were unable to finish the race in Bahrain. Both drivers failed to finish due to technical problems. Red Bull Racing's advisor Helmut Marko remains positive though as he believes the RB3's pace has improved significantly.

"A lot of people talk about a crisis in our team, but we made a lot of progression," Marko told Austrian newsagent APA. The Renault powered Red Bull Racing team has yet to score a point. "At the beginning of the season we were 1.5 seconds slower than Williams, but we are now well ahead of them and in Bahrain we could even fight the Renaults."

"I believe we made some big steps forward. Especially the speed of our car is impressive. In terms of speed we are the fourth team on the grid at the moment I think, it's just that we need to work more consistent now."
