
Super Aguri driver Anthony Davidson is showing a strong performance at the start of the 2007 Formula 1 world championship. The Briton, who joined Takuma Sato at Super Aguri at the start of the season, believes the team is close to scoring its first championship points in F1.

"Our speed still varies from race to race, but don't write off Super Aguri yet," Davidson told Autosport. "We were held up by a Renault in Bahrain - and that's unbelievable. "Every time we get the car right, we're going to be teetering on the edge of points. A point wasn't off the scale and a place in the top 10 was very much within our sights."
