Kolles: No one's seat is under threat at Spyker

23 April 2007

German media reports suggested that Christijan Albers' seat is under threat as the Dutchman would not be performing, as the team would expect him to perform. Winkelhock would be the Dutchman's replacement but according to teamboss Colin Kolles he was misinterpreted.

According to the German media Kolles told them Winkelhock will most likely replace Christijan Albers. But Kolles explained to GPUpdate.net: "I told some reporters that when Christijan Albers or Adrian Sutil would be sick or would be unable to race for whatever reason we would have Markus Winkelhock as Markus is our reserve driver."

"Christijan's seat is completely safe, he does not have to be worried to be replaced by someone else. He will finish the season with us."
